Our Club
The Historical Glass Club of Pittsburgh

The more than 60 members of the Historical Glass Club of Pittsburgh (HGCP) are from all over the Greater Pittsburgh area. The HGCP meets the third Wednesday of every month from September through May at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, across from South Hills Village, unless so noted on the calendar.



Our club has an EDUCATION / OUTREACH Committee that puts together the following:

Glass Study Groups,


Glass Identification Events,


and other opportunities as they arise which accomplish the goals of the Education / Outreach Committee and Article II - Purpose : The purpose of the historical Glass Club of Pittsburgh shall be to educate and promote the study, knowledge, appreciation and history of American glass, with emphasis on glass manufactures in the Pittsburgh region, as will as it's relationship to useful and decorative arts.

Study Group Activities

The Study Group finished their 2017 Show display. If you are interested in helping with the 2018 display, join the club and contact Zita or Jon. We need everyone's help to make the display at each of our February Shows a Spectacular success..

The Historical Glass Club of Pittsburgh (HGCP) is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization listed on the IRS website in their pub. 78 database
